You can use one or more of the commands / parameters below in combination to get specific time zone and current time information about Users, Channel Members or Groups.

For example, "/timeshow 14:30 @joe @tom #marketing", will display local times at 14:30 for Joe, Tom and all users in the Marketing Channel

 

 

Parameters

  [meet] - Automatically computes and displays Optimal Meeting Time Windows

This command displays potential "meeting windows" that work for all members of a channel / group.

  [user] - Displays Time Zones sorted by Username

This displays current times and member time zones grouped by members in ascending / descending order.

[asc | desc] (Changes Sort Order)

  [summary] - Displays number of Users by Time Zone - useful in large Channels or Groups

This displays current times and the count of members in each time zone and is very useful in a channel with a large number of members.

When?

  [date (YYYY-MM-DD)] [time (HH:MM)] - Displays Time Zones for a specific Date, Time or Both

This displays convenient times in member time zones for a specific date and time.

Who?

  [@user(s)] - Displays Time Zones for one or more Users

This displays time and time zone information for a specific member in a channel.

  [#channel(s)] - Displays Time Zones for one or more Channels

This displays times and member time zones for any channel without having to navigate to the channel to type the command.

  [exclude] @user(s) - Excludes one or more Users - useful in large Channels or Groups

This displays time and time zone information for all members of a channel, excluding a specific member.

Show output to others?

  [show] - Makes TimeShow output visible to others

This displays output of all commands to members of the channel and is useful when you would like everyone to see the different times / time zones in a channel in order to coordinate a meeting.

Timebot for Private channels

@timebot is an optional helper that provides time zone information of all members in a private channel or group.

Just invite @timebot to the private channel or group by using the command /invite @timebot
